What I discovered was I had to not only change the foods I was eating, but that portion control would be truly key to permanent weight reduction. One of the things I realized I was doing wrong when I was making an attempt to shed some weight was eating to much at every sitting. I took time to measure out the serving sizes discussed on the diverse food products that I was eating, and found that I was eating 2 and a half to three times as much as I should have been eating. When I started exercising some portion control, I noticed that I was shedding weight like never before.</p>
<p>I began to eat lighter meals more often throughout the day, and it actually revved up my metabolism and I was losing steadily every week.  I began to realize portion control, at least for me, was the most important side of dieting. I also learned it&#8217;s not so much what you eat that&#8217;s the most vital thing but how much you eat.
