Maintain radiant and healthy skin throughout the holiday season and into the new year by following these fall and winter organic skin care tips.</p>
<p><b>1. Consume Plenty of Water</b></p>
<p>Consuming plenty of water will help your skin stay hydrated. Take a bottle of water, juice or tea with you when you leave the house. When it&#8217;s cold, hot herbal tea can work miracles. Drinking copious amounts of liquids will hydrate your skin enough that you will maintain a healthy glow on even the coldest winter days.</p>
<p><b>2. Exfoliate to Remove Dead Skin Cells</b></p>
<p>A body and facial scrub can remove dead skin cells, keep your skin feeling fresh. Expensive products aren&#8217;t necessary. Use a recipe that uses items you can find in your own kitchen to create an exfoliant.</p>
<p><b>3. Use Organic Moisturizers</b></p>
<p>After you exfoliate your skin, the next step is to moisturize it. Organic skin moisturizers containing all natural ingredients are available. Free of harsh chemical preservatives, these organic products help protect rather than harm your skin.</p>
<p><b>4.  Always Apply Sunscreen</b></p>
<p>You need to apply sunscreen when you&#8217;re going outdoors even if it&#8217;s not in the heat of summer. Use sunscreen with SPF 15 or more. Organic sunscreens are available. Some sunscreens do double duty because they protect from the sun and contain moisturizing agents. Protect your skin from the harsh environment with a good sunscreen.</p>
<p><b>5.  Always Don Your Gloves</b></p>
<p>Your mother knew what she was talking about when she insisted you wear gloves in the winter.  Don&rsquo;t leave home in the cold without a pair of gloves. Select gloves that are made of organic material like hemp. Gloves will protect your skin from the harsh elements as well as keep your hands dry and warm.</p>
<p><b>6. Add an Organic Oil to Your Bath</b></p>
<p>You can hydrate your skin and relax your body with an organic bath oil. Use a lavender bath oil to relax your body, calm your senses, and nourish your skin simultaneously. A few drops of the oil in your bath water will do wonders for you after a tiring day at the office (or, in case of the Christmas Season, the mall).</p>
<p><b>7. Protect your Lips with Organic Lip Balm</b></p>
<p>Lips chap easily in the fall and winter.  Both the cold and the use of indoor heaters can cause lips to chap.  Use an organic lip balm to help stave off chapping.. Make sure you keep a balm in your purse or pocket.  After all, you never know when you&#8217;ll need one.  If you&#8217;ve suffered from chapped lips, then you know lip balm is something you should never be without.</p>
